Back on the little things, the little things that take a lot of time, the little things that often get overlooked. To be honest, I didn't realize there was so much that went into building a dragster, this is my first rodeo. That being said, this is not Jimmy's first rodeo, he has built and drag raced many of them over the years. Project Jumping Jack Flash is in good hands with Jimmy, and I am learning a lot.
In this video we finish the welding the 4130 chromoly chassis, start to brainstorm the body panels, and also begin welding the Dzus fasteners. These are all very time consuming tasks and if 2 Hacks Garage wants to go fast at the dragstrip, we will need to stay focused. Every weekend we put in countless hours and the hard work is starting to pay off, it is starting to look like a vintage front engine dragster again! The smell of nitro and burnout smoke isn't that far off... stay tuned my rowdy friends!!
