In the ninth episode of Endpoint’s Wayfinding Xchange Podcast, Gideon is joined by Professor Jan Wiener from the psychology department at Bournemouth University. They discuss how cognitive ageing impacts navigation and wayfinding.

Jan was awarded a doctorate in Cognitive Science in 2004. Prior to joining the university in 2009, he held post-doctorate and principal investigator positions at academic institutions in both Germany and France, including the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and the University of Tübingen.

Today, Jan’s research is heavily focused on the multiple cognitive components and complex information processing in navigation and wayfinding.
