Tripadvisor and the IINE Say

Participants from IINE’s Hospitality Training Program visit the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum, hosted by Tripadvisor as part of the Welcome Home program.

The Welcome Home program aims to provide moments of joy in the lives of refugees and displaced persons who have overcome unimaginable hardship to restart their lives somewhere entirely unfamiliar. Tripadvisor Experiences is partnering with local resettlement agencies across the United State to provide vouchers for local experiences for them to embed in their cultural acclimation, workforce development and other programming.

Through this program, we hope to provide positive and familiarizing experiences and to give these newcomers the opportunity to explore their new communities through activities like walking tours, visits to their hometown’s iconic sites, or historical and cultural experiences.
