Marathon on frozen Pangong Tso in Ladakh to raise awareness about climate change

Every winter season, the Pangong Lake freezes. But what if, one year it does not? Young people living around the lake have decided to organize 'The Last Marathon' on the lake when it freezes in February next year, to raise awareness about the effects of climate change and melting glaciers in the region. In this report, ThePrint speaks to the organizers of the event to learn more about what inspired this idea.
