Hi everyone ,

Hope you all had a wonderful EId.

This video is all about how we spent our eid in Riyadh, didn't go anywhere outside.

My husband wore a traditional desi wear, Kurtha.
I wore a cotton Abaya which i bought from Al Khaleejiya Abaya in Murabba LULU. My dress for the second day was a gown with a Denim White jacket.

We had few guests coming for lunch on eid day. My recipes this time was really very simple. It was Chicken biriyani, Beef fry and as a dessert prepared my favorite, Moong Dal Paayasam and kid's favorite Luqaimat. Recipe links below :

We had booked a room at a hotel to have a day off from all the hustle bustle. This year it was Mövenpick Riyadh. We had a wonderful time there, atleast i was refreshed from being away from home just for a day. Here we get 9 - 10 days off for schools and offices. So most of them go out of Saudi Arabia for a short trip. Hence hotel rates in KSA goes a bit down. We booked our hotel room from Booking.com

So this is how we enjoyed our eid days. Do tell me how you spent your day. I know i have been too bad on replying these days. It was all because of Ramzan. Hopefully i shall get back on track once am back to routine. We are still on holiday mood as offices and schools will re-open only on Sunday.
