Here’s how I made an approximation of Pantone’s colour of the year for 2022 - Very Peri.

In combing wool, it will usually be an approximation as there will always be a small amount of waste from disposing of the shortest fibres. It’s rare for all of the colours to have consistent fibre lengths.

This uses 42% cyan, 36% magenta and 22% white.

I use the % of CMYK and the brightness value for white to work out the approximate amounts of cyan, magenta, yellow, black and white.
