This video is about Baba Ramdev (Hindi: बाबा रामदेव)(or Ramdevji, or Ramdeo Pir,Ramsha Pir) (1352–1385 AD; V.S. 1409–1442) is a Hindu folk deity of Rajasthan, India. He was a fourteenth-century ruler, said to have miraculous powers, who devoted his life to the upliftment of the downtrodden and poor people of society. He is worshiped today by many social groups of India as Ishta-deva.Ramdev took Samadhi on Bhadrapada Shukla Ekadashi in V.S. 1442 at the age of 37 years. Dalibai, his ardent follower from the Meghwal community, is also buried near his grave and is said to have taken Samadhi two days before Ramdev.

રામદેવપીરનો જન્મ આજથી આશરે ૬૦૦ વર્ષ પહેલાં રાજસ્થાનના બારમેર જિલ્લાના કાશ્મીર ગામમાં સંવત ૧૪૦૯ની ભાદરવા સુદ બીજને દિવસે થયો હતો. તેમની માતાનું નામ મિનલ દેવી (મૈણાદે) અને પિતાનું નામ અજમલ રાય હતું. તેમના પિતા આ વિસ્તારના રાજા હતાં. કાશ્મીર ગામ હાલમાં રામદેવરા તરીકે પણ ઓળખાય છે.

વિક્રમ સંવત 1442 માં ભાદરવા સુદી ૧૧ને ગુરુવારના રોજ ભગવાન શ્રી રામદેવજી મહારાજે મહાસમાધીમાં પ્રવેશ કર્યો ત્યારે નિજ ભક્તોને ચોવીસ ફરમાનરૂપે અંતિમ બોધ આપ્યો. તે ચોવીસ ફરમાનો નીચે પ્રમાણે છેઃ
(૧)
પાપથી કાયમ દૂર રહેવું ધર્મમાં આપવું નિજ ધ્યાન;
જીવમાત્ર પર દયા રાખવી ભુખ્યાને દેવું અન્નદાન.

ધર્મ થી ઢુકડા પણ પાપ થી છેટા રહેજો

(૨)
ગુરુચરણમાં પાપ પ્રકાશો પરમાર્થ કાજે રહેવું તૈયાર;
જૂજ જીવવું જાણી લેજો કરવો સાર અસારનો વિચાર.

તો દોસ્તો ભક્ત શ્રી રામદાસ કહે છે કે લિલુડો ગોડો અને ભમ્મરિયો ભાલો ધારણ કરીને શ્રી બાબા રામદેવજી એ પરમ પદ ની ઓર્ખાણ આપી છે અને રામદેવજી એ સમાધિ સમયે બોધ રૂપે આ 24 ફરમાનો આપ્યા છે.જેને દરેક ભક્ત એ પોતા ના જીવન મા પાલન કરવાથી જીવન ધન્ય બને છે.
