You need a save file to get this game to work (this save file works with both Pokemon Y and Pokemon X). In this video, I used two different ones, so I'll link them both.

1ST SAVE FILE: This is right when the game first starts (i.e. before a starter Pokemon is chosen). http://freeemulator.com/emulator-file...

Unzip the save file to the following folder structure: CitraInstallFolder\user\sdmc\Nintendo 3DS\00000000000000000000000000000000\00000000000000000000000000000000\title\00055e00

Citra is currently available for Windows, Linux, and Mac (OS X). All my Citra videos are running on Windows 10 64-bit. Also, all of my Citra videos show the games running in real time--no edited speedups or anything like that.

Notes about Citra: At this point in its development, Citra is still a very early and experimental emulator. Quite a few games run fairly well now in large part thanks to the recent implementation of the CPU JIT compiler, but there are a lot of graphical and audio issues. Basically, don't expect it to run games perfectly.

To prevent Citra from running above 60 FPS, enable V-Sync under Emulation - Configure - Graphics within Citra.
