Bars and Melody in the recording studio: Never Give Up

Bars and Melody—Leondre Devries and Charlie Lenehan—recording Never Give Up, their second album for Japanese record label Avex.

Bars and Melody’s first Avex album Hopeful was released in August 2016 and only a week after their return from the launch in Japan, Leo and Charlie were back at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London to record Never Give Up consisting of five new songs, including Unite (Live Forever), plus a dance-mix version of Hopeful.

Bars and Melody are Leondre Devries and Charlie Lenehan, a rapping and singing duo who were Britain's Got Talent 2014 finalists.

After the show, Bars and Melody were signed by Simon Cowell. Their début, anti-bullying single Hopeful came out in July 2014.

Leo and Charlie have since released further singles, their début album 143 and their Teen Spirit EP, have toured extensively across the world; and have a huge fandom, not only in the UK, but also, especially, in Poland and in Japan, where they have made two albums with Avex, one of Japan’s largest record labels.

Bars and Melody’s latest album Generation Z came out September 2017. They are currently working on their next album Choke.
