Este es un humilde homenaje a la música que, en cierta manera, forma parte de mi generación, pues llegaba a nuestros jóvenes oídos desde aquellos estridentes chips de sonido presentes en consolas de vídeo juegos, que musicalizaban nuestras tardes de ocio con secuencias que se repetían una y otra vez infinitamente. Algunos llegamos a amar ese carácter sintético, escueto, a veces perturbador, pero no por ello pobre, del mundo sonoro tecnológico de la época. Por eso, y muchas otras cosas, amamos las teclas y los sintes... y nos apegamos a otras músicas que nos retrotraen a esa nostalgia por su sonido.
Cabe nombrar que el compositor de esta banda sonora es el holandes Jeroen Tel, miembro fundador del grupo de música de computadora “maniacs of noise” y es a mi criterio, como se dice de muchas otras bandas sonoras de videojuegos, una obra maestra de la síntesis musical.
La grabación que van a escuchar fué realizada sin la utilización de VSTs o efectos virtuales ni superposición de pistas Wav. Todo lo que se escucha proviene de mi “gear set” que se conforma por un Microkorg XL+ el cual se ve en el video, mientras el acompañamiento es ejecutado vía midi hacia un Ensoniq SQ1+ ;un Yamaha DX7IIFD; la voz secundaria del MKXL+ y un delay Nux Timecore, desde mi Daw favorito.

This is a humble tribute to music that, in a certain way, is part of my generation, because it reached our young ears from those strident sound chips present in video game consoles, which played our leisure afternoons with sequences that were repeated again and again infinitely. Some of us came to love this synthetic, concise, sometimes disturbing, but not so poor, character of the technological sound world of the time. That's why, and many other things, we love the keys and the synths ... and we stick to other music that brings us back to that nostalgia because of its sound.
It is worth mentioning that the composer of this soundtrack is the Dutch Jeroen Tel, founding member of the computer music group "maniacs of noise" and it is, in my opinion, as it is said of many other videogame soundtracks, a masterpiece of the musical synthesis.
The recording that you're about to listen was made without the use of VSTs or virtual effects or superposition of Wav tracks. Everything that is heard comes out from my "gear set" that is formed by a Microkorg XL + which is seen in the video, while the accompaniment is executed via midi to an Ensoniq SQ1 +, a Yamaha DX7IIFD; the secondary voice of the MKXL + and a Nux Timecore delay, from my favorite Daw.
