Triune Music presents to you another spectacular pipe organ rebuild. This time it is a vintage Moller Pipe Organ at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, which is located in the Wrigleyville neighborhood on Chicago's northside. The project actually represents three different organ builders: Rodgers, Ruffatti and Moller.

The organ music is A Mighty Fortress arr. Dr. Donald P. Hustad and is being played by guest organist, Dr. Elizabeth Naegele.

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is an inner-city church with a long history of presenting quality music, but it had one problem: A failing pipe organ. The Organ Committee researched 4-different pipe organ builders and reviewed plans from each. Triune Music had the winning plan.

Triune Music's plan included a new Choir division located in the balcony, a new Ruck- Positiv built by Fratelli Ruffatti, a new console from Rodgers Instruments, and the refurbishment of the old Moller pipework, new chests and new pipe rank additions.

The results are a stunning 5-divison organ, with three divisions located in the front of the Sanctuary to support congregational singing and concerts, and two divisions in the balcony to support the Choir and musicians Accompanying musicians in the front of the church is made possible by the addition of a closed-circuit TV monitor build-in to the music desk of the organ console. The Ruck-Positive by Ruffatti was specially designed with 3-faceted pipes representing the Holy Trinity.

This rebuilt and revitalized organ has played a big part in the revitalization of this inner-city church. Quality music is central to the overall Mission of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. The congregation is known for exciting liturgy and exuberant singing!
