Clients are always concerned about the time and costs associated with conducting employment background screening. We recently had a client story that we wanted to share.

The client is in the quick lube / oil change business and their turnover rate is super high. They didn't think it was wise to conduct background checks and spend money on employees that didn't hang around very long.

We proposed a pretty basic background screening package that could be done pretty quickly and cost effectively. They implemented this new process and found that they were attracting better candidates and the ones that they made offers to and passed the background check actually stayed with the company much longer.

Background checks can often deter the applicants that can cost you time and money. It might narrow your pool, but your retention rate will go up.
