Easy day-trip or weekend-trip from Munich. We started off with great views along the route - snowy roads, foggy and cloudy sky and glimpses of snow capped peaks. We started off with a few quick runs on the kids slope and quickly progressed to better slopes. The ride with the gondola was fabulous!! Chair-lifts, kids parks and more enthusiastic skiers and the stage is set 🤩⛷️
I ate some packed sandwiches for lunch, and after a few rounds on the slopes, I went up to a hut to eat some Apfelstrudel! Warm Apfelstrudel with some vanilla sauce, while enjoying the weather and killer views! 🍰
We returned to the base afterwards and headed to @notburgahof_piesendorf ‪@notburgahof‬ to stay that night. First things first - Sauna, after a long day of skiing 🧖🏻 Done for the day. Next morning, caught some nice views from the balcony and grabbed a quick coffee. Then we had the rest of the breakfast and we were ready for checkout. The breakfast spread was really good with different kinds of bread, toast, jams (marmalade) eggs, meat slices, cheese, porridge, cereals and seeds, fruits, etc. The route back to Munich was also scenic and we reached back in 3 hours.
That's the end of a very fulfilling short ski trip!
