Eleven years has passed since the Yellow Turban Rebellion, a horrific time where Divine Lightning were used regularly to smite non-Christians. Since then, Christianity has been declared forbidden. During this time of peace, Xiao Qiao wishes to follow in her family's footsteps and become a member of a noble family through marriage to Zhou Yu. Her first mission goes awry when she faced off with her crazed sister, the Profane Blacksmith Da Qiao, steps in and save her by giving her a demonic blade that can maybe summon Bankais or whatever. Impressed by her skills and in awe of her craftsmanship, she was made to join Da Qiao while she faces off against regular Humans and asks her to forge her a new blade.
