The Vincent HRD Section of Tasmania organised an 11 day tour around Tasmania in February 2023 for Vincent motorbikes only, and Vincent riders from all over Australia "ferried" their bikes across from the main land for the experience and fun of riding the Tasmanian roads with fellow Vincent owners. Numbers were kept to a max of 50 to make it easier to manage and it booked out pretty quick. Some overseas Vincent enthusiasts traveled over from the UK, Ireland and also the USA to join us on borrowed Vincents and nobody was disappointed. Tasmania turned on the best weather for all but 2 of the days. Amazingly the week after we returned home it snowed at one of our visited towns - yet it was 28 degrees the day we were there.
This clip is a very much edited capture of the 11 days, compacted down to just over a half hour, showing the places we stopped at for breaks and our overnight stops, as well as a bit of the magnificent scenery as we rode past. I rode pillion for the first day so that footage is from the back of our 1948 Series B HRD. The rest of the tour I was in the car getting ahead of the bikes as much as I could to video them passing me, leaving and arriving in the various towns. It was an amazing time and our gratitude goes to the organisers for putting together such an amazing tour.
