After taking early retirement from Army, Sinha started making travel documentaries. While filming the beautiful locality of Cox’s Bazar to add to his long-cherished travel diary, Major Sinha came to know about extrajudicial killings, torture and land robbery of OC Pradeep and SI Liaqat gong. Sinha, being the beacon of justice that he is, without a moments’ notice spared no effort to compile information along with locals. OC Pradeep after being informed of these activities of Major Sinha, planned to cold bloodedly eliminate Sinha along with his collaborators.

Sinha's death sparked widespread criticism across the country. As the murderers were ‘powerful’ policemen, people in general were worried whether there would be justice. But the court pronounced verdict on January 31, 2022 sentencing main culprits to death.

Sinha, also named “Adnan” in family was born in Rangamati and was very prudent from childhood. His passion for travelling started when he was in seventh grade and he had a desire to to go to the Himalayas. As a debater he proved himself at national level. Speed was in his vein as he always used to fly away with his car while driving.

Sinha was a commando who was capable of shooting 8 rounds of bullets within just 5 seconds. He was skillful enough to neutralize threats by eliminating hostiles regardless of the challenges. As he was assigned as a member of the SSF, he was part of the force that was in charge of the VVIP security, which is responsible for security of the president and the prime minister at the highest priority level. Major Sinha received ‘Presidential Sword’ award and also awarded by the Honorable Prime Minister for his excellence, accomplishments and earnestly well-served duty.

After he was commissioned from BMA, starting from Officer's Weapon Basic Course he proved his talent as well as potential. And later, at JCSC and other courses he showed his caliber of being a reputed officer.
Although he quitted the Army due to his personal reasons revolving around his interest and the goals he wanted to pursue in his life, he still finished his Staff College courses which is generally known as PSC. This shows the strong commitment he had towards the things that he has started once. Whether it is physically or mentally, he is a gem of a kind.

With the indefectible aim and precision targeting in shooting, Sinha was a veteran combat marksman- as described by his fellow officers. He possessed an eagle-eye vision which allowed him to track any abnormalities in a situation or location. He had sharp instincts that could allow him to interpret threats regardless of the situation.

However, his wishes remained unfulfilled as he was shot dead by demons in police uniform in Cox's Bazar on July 31, 2020. Sinha was just 36, when all his dreams were shattered by bullets.

Army days were Sinhas’s best memory in his life. He joined the army as he loved his motherland and people. Another reason is that he loved adventure. Being fit, receiving training and living an adventurous life were the opportunities he had while in the army was the inspiration for him to join the army in the first place and his ambition was to represent the beauty of Bangladesh.

Sadly, fate wasn’t in favor of Sinha.
