Akko has been on a roll lately, releasing keyboards under their Gem and Mineral series that cater to both enthusiasts and newcomers to the hobby.

The Gem02 is an affordable entry point that comes with all the bells and whistles you need for a great “one-and-done” mechanical keyboard with plenty of room for customization and modding. Akko sent this over not long after the Mineral01 for review, and I’ve got some thoughts. Over the past few weeks, I’ve tested this alongside the Mineral series to figure out what you’re gaining and what you’re missing when choosing one over the other.
