Hall of the Mountain King | Backcountry Splitboarding Montana's Rocky Mountain Front

Описание к видео Hall of the Mountain King | Backcountry Splitboarding Montana's Rocky Mountain Front

Luke and Brian know well, the Rocky Mountains are an inhospitable place during the winter season, without a doubt. Despite this fact, a few of us from The Committee were able to find a moment of solace in the Hall of the Mountain King. He was kind enough to let us pass on through, and get a few face shots along the way.

The Hall of the Mountain King was named by a local who took Brian up there years ago. We have been meaning to go up there for years, and we finally did. It is a little trek back in in there but sure was worth it. We almost got shut down by the conditions as this was late in the season. There was potentially some rain that fell up there a week prior, but that was followed up with by a 6" carpet of powder.

Luke + Brian are great Falls locals, who are both active in the community. Luke is originally from New Mexico. Brian is from Butte. Splitboarding is one of the things they get out and do together when they can get permission from their wives (who both shred on a splitboard too).

We like to refer to our little group as the Committee. We are a loose band of westerners with many backgrounds, styles, and definitions of what it means to be "western". Some of us rodeo, others climb and fish, skateboard, run rivers, hunt, ski, backpack, farm, ranch, play music, howl at the mountains, and we all love travel and adventure.

We originate from Montana, America and somehow we all ended up making clothes and gear, far from any of our minds growing up. Now it has become a passion. We are grateful for the opportunity to share our products, love of adventure, and western style with you.
