Welcome to the online Assembly for the Baptist Union of Great Britain.
This is an opportunity to hear about and pray for the work of Baptists Together. We presented the Annual Report for 2019 and provided updates on our work so far in 2020 and our plans for the future.
Sadly due to the unique and difficult context, we have had to miss some of the usual parts of our Assembly, like the In Memoriam and Welcoming In The New Ministers. We as a team believed the best way to give these areas our full and proper attention and respect was to have them in person, at our next Assembly.
We also covered some topics required under our constitution, including the affirmation of the appointment of the Treasurer and the Moderator of the Trustee Board.
The contributors to this Assembly was: Lynn Green, Yinka Oyekan, Alastair Mitchell-Baker and John Levick. The Assembly broadcast was BSL interpreted by Kerrion and Steve.
