The Project Zomboid Story: Special Report: Zombie Outbreak in Knox County - Ep 9

Vikki, Gigi, and Sgt. Rowell face their darkest hour as Riverside comes under siege. After narrowly escaping a bombed yacht, the trio is thrown into a war zone where zombies ravage the city and military bombs rain from above. Their mission to find medical supplies takes a tragic turn as Rowell is critically injured by an explosion—and worse, he's been bitten by the undead.

As they seek shelter in a ruined home, Rowell says his final goodbyes, refusing to turn into one of the creatures he's fought to stop. This emotional episode leaves Vikki and Gigi to grapple with the loss of their comrade as the bombings and outbreak escalate.
