Nightscape Photography - What's In The Background

Today we take a look at some basic information on composition in nightscape photography. The question I want to pose is this .. What's in the Background" ... ?? We often spend all of our time looking for a foreground subject to place in our nightscapes and forget about what may be hiding out of sight in the immediate background. Usually it doesn't become apparent until our eyes become accustomed to the dark surroundings, but often we don't even notice what's out there at all. So today we look at a location where I've shot many times before and go through some of the issues I faced on a recent night photography shoot there.
