The Rickshaw Drivers of Bangladesh | By Sachin Bhat

Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, is also known as the rickshaw capital of the world, with half a million rickshaws.

Over 7 million people of the city rely on the muscle power of the rickshaw drivers to help them get through some of the busiest roads in the world.

With an income of just about $6 a day, the men have to bear it all - scorching heat, grumpy traffic police officers, bumpy roads - to make ends meet.

This documentary is an ode to the hard-working and industrious rickshaw drivers of Bangladesh.
