Recording Notes:

Drums were extracted from the original track. Every other instrument and vocal was recorded as shown.

I EQed and filtered the "Lennon" vocal part to achieve a similar sound to the original home-made demo used to create the song.

The lead guitar on this song was originally recorded on a 12-string guitar. I layered two takes of my Casino to achieve a similar result since I don't own a 12-string guitar.

For the slide part during the intro I tuned the high E string 1 step down. I'm pretty sure this is the way it was recorded.

The original song was recorded with a 5-string bass (WAL MK2). You can notice the low "C" hiting during the solo section. I slightly changed the bass line here so it can be played on my 4-string Jazz Bass
