SUMMARY:
Soohyun and her family are originally from Gwangju, Jeolla-do region, in the south-western part of Korea. Her family later moved to Seoul when she was still a middle school student (In 2015 interviews, Soohyun mentioned moving to Gyeonggi-do). It was really difficult for her to adapt living in such a different place... As a result, Soohyun didn't have any friends, at first ( my poor baby 쑹 ;;;__;;;) Around that same time, Taeyeon had just released her OST "If", a song which became sort of a source of comfort and coping for Soohyun.

She listened to Taeyeon's singing so much, Soohyun naturally wanted to be like Taeyeon~ Soohyun realized her dream was to become a singer!.. Unfortunately, Soohyun's parents strongly opposed the idea, so she didn't have any where (like a formal training academy, or studio) to practice singing...

The only place she could practice was inside the closet, in her bedroom!!
(MC Jun Hyun Moo then joked that Soohyun was preparing for Hidden Singer, all this time! The booths must have been familiar to her? haha) Soohyun would sing and sing and sing... never leaving her little closet, because she hoped to be a singer so much ;;

As part of her sunbaenim-to-hoobae talk, Taeyeon then told Soohyun even though her parents may not have supported her dream of being a singer, at first, but it's important to remain confident... As Soohyun (and N*White) become more recognized/successful, her parents will naturally have a change of heart and openly support her dream. Soohyun just needs to keep strong and never give up.

////sidenote: /// It must've been pretty surreal for Soohyun to be 1st place in rounds 1 and 2, considering Taeyeon's her role model ^_^ ... too bad she got elminated before the final round ;(

I hope you support Subin, Hakyung, LinA & Soohyun!!!! They've been working so hard all these years... This "official debut" with Hello Boy is like their second chance/new beginning, considering they released My Sunshine last year. They still haven't performed on a music show, yet :( I'm sure their whole story will be better explained as the girls promote legit-forreal this time. I hope everything works out for them ^^
