Dreams and reality... it interests me so much to what kind of degree you can find a way to merge those two with each other. Which parts of those mystic lights in the nights will forever just remain fairy dust and which are those you are able to give birth into the real world.

Years ago when I was still a teenager we drove through this area and the combination of old, tiny houses selling their own wine and then those almost mega-mansions around amazed me. This clearly had to be a place of wealth.

Today I look at it differently. As I walked in the sunrise through the vineyard I had to think about an idea my girlfriend and I always had. Buy a tiny house somewhere in the forest and make it a place you spend your time on weekends. No electricity, just a wood burner. It makes you appreciate modern life again and all of its blessings. Then on sunday return to our home and live life the "normal" way again.

Out here you find many of these old, tiny houses. They have a small vineyard in the back and sell some bottles of their own wine. You can see them sit in the garden sometimes enjoying life the slow way. Seeing some big car arrive at a mansion on the other side of the road now makes me question my teenage goals in life.

What does wealth really mean? I think my grandma put it the best when she said: "As long as I can still walk my paths each day I have all I could ever want." ... but don't take her too serious... she's just a walker...
