Bandwidth of a Dynamic System

Описание к видео Bandwidth of a Dynamic System

In this video we discuss the definition and physical meaning of the bandwidth of a dynamic system. We’ll see that this is a performance metric that is used to assess the ability of the system to respond to time-varying signals, particularly sinusoidal inputs. This effectively measures how “nimble” a system is and what frequencies it can be expected to track before performance degrades.

Topics and time stamps:
0:08 – Introduction and definition.
3:52 – Example using a dog and a laser pointer.
10:19 – Example of bandwidth of a linear system
24:51 – Changing controller gain to change the bandwidth
