The Peter Iredale was built in 1890 and was owned by a British shipping firm called Iredale & Porter.
The ship wrecked at Fort Stevens in Oregon State on October 25th, 1906 and is one of the oldest ship wrecks that that can still be viewed.
Most of the ship is under sand but what you can see is very impressive and I was excited to photograph it.
Only a short 5 minute walk from parking at Fort Stevens State Park, this ship wreck is a must see!
