Latin American Music Celebration Concert 09.24.24

In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15–Oct. 15), the School of Music proudly presents a musical experience that highlights the cultures of Latin America. This annual concert will feature both classical and contemporary works by renowned Latinx composers including Sanjines, Yenque, Ginastera, Ramón Noble, Carlinhos Brown, Manuel Ponce, Carrillo, Gustavo Miranda, Idalba "babi" Leite de Oliveira, DiRivera, guest guitarist Cecilia Zabala, Cervantes, and Tito Puente. Co-sponsored by The Center for Latin American Studies, the Department of Spanish and Portuguese, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, OLÉ (Organization of Latin American Employees) and the School of Music.
