Mrs. Lois Anna (Stevenson) McKnight passed from this life in Odessa, Texas, with family by her side, on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Odessa Medical Center Hospital. Lois was born July 28, 1956 in the family home in Levelland, Texas.

Lois grew up in the greater Portland, Oregon area where she attended Columbia Christian Academy during grade school, Molalla Grade School and Molalla Union High school. She returned to Levelland her senior year of high school where she graduated. Her professional career was spent as a Phlebotomist and CNA in Lubbock and Odessa. Lois worshipped faithfully and served at her local church, the Odessa Christian Faith Center. She was an avid gardener and loved to go fishing at her favorite spot on Lake J. B. Thomas.

Lois Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Walker and Chattie Stevenson, of Lubbock, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, Timothy (Timmy) Merle McKnight; her sons, James McKnight of Odessa and Jonathan McKnight of Lubbock; her brother, Paul Stevenson, and his wife, Gladys, of Bandera, Texas; her sister, Sarah Stevenson of Lubbock. Lois continues to be loved by her grown niece Janelle Vermilion and nephew Joshua Stevenson and their families.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Distinctive Funeral Choices, 1507 N. Grandview, Odessa. A reception with the family will follow.
