A 30-second review of Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon, by Yacht Club Games, for the Nintendo Switch!

This puzzle roguelite is not at all what we had expected, offering deep gameplay and a world full of things to unlock and do.

The core gameplay is a connecting enemies for chain attacks with a const need to health up as you absorb attacks, but buffs you get from chests and shop keep each run unique and interesting. Unlock your favorite Shovel Knight villains and play as them for all-new twists!

I actually had difficulty with this game playing handheld, but after switching to docked mode I immediately improved. If you have trouble, give it a try. Don't ask me why, though...I have no idea!
