This video will show how to diagnose and fix your warning battery light that showed up on your instrument cluster.

When this light comes on, in most cases it means that Alternator failed and it is not charging your Battery.

To test the alternator you will have to measure voltage of the battery while vehicle is running. You can do that by using multi-meter and connect it to your battery poles to see the Voltage on your battery.

GOOD ALTERNATOR Will measure 14.2V-14.7V (while vehicle is running)
In my case Voltage was at 11.7V which indicated that alternator was not charging my battery.

If Your alternator voltage is in the specs, there might be some other problems with your charging system such as: BAD BATTERY/BAD WIRING CONNECTIONS/BAD PCM/BAD VOLTAGE REGULATOR/BAD FUSE/BAD VOLTAGE REGULATOR.
