In this video, I'll take you through my step-by-step journey, taking an ice bath outdoors, in nature, in a frozen creek (same thing for a cold plunge in a lake). The logistics of cold plunging in nature have been hard for me.

I live pretty far from the creek, and I have to hike like 5 minutes to get to my spot. So when I get out, I have to be careful and intentional with my process. It took me a few tries this winter, but I think I've finally got something figured out that works well for me.

Because let's face it. Ice bath and cold plunge practice is here to stay. For me, and many others, it is SO much more than just a fad. As winter sets in, all of us cold bathers get excited. Because we can stop dealing with ice, and chest freezers, and everything we do to make cold water in the summer.

In the winter, we can just go outside, chop through some ice if need be, and just hop in. It is so fantastic!

But then what? You've gotta get out, dry off, get warm, and get back inside before you freeze and not get hypothermia.
