This is my new music video, featuring JY Pawoap, leader of A7JK and Chief of the Pombei Tribe.
"Kanaké" is a musical interpretation of the founding myth of Téâ Kanaké, which tells the story of the origin of all Beings. It was written in honor of the Kanak People of New Caledonia’s culture, and all it carries of Land, Men and Spirits. Like Jean-Marie Tjibaou said in 1975, « We are men with a culture. And this culture must be shown. If it is not shown, some think we do not exist. »
We give thanks to the people of the Pombei Tribe for their friendship and firm support from the begining of this human and cultural mission, as well as to the whole of the people of Kanaky-New-Caledonia.

Voici mon nouveau clip, en collaboration avec JY Pawoap, leader du groupe A7JK et Chef de la Tribu de Pombei.
"Kanaké" est une interprétation musicale du mythe fondateur de Téâ Kanaké, qui raconte l’histoire de l’origine des Êtres. A travers cette chanson et ce clip, nous avons voulu mettre à l’honneur la culture du Peuple Kanak de la Nouvelle-Calédonie et tout ce qu’elle a de Terre, d’Hommes et d’Esprits. Comme disait en 1975 Jean-Marie Tjibaou : « Nous sommes des hommes ayant une Culture. Et cette culture il faut la montrer. Si on ne la montre pas, on pense qu’on n’existe pas. »
Nous remercions les habitants de la Tribu de Pombei pour leur amitié et leur soutien depuis le début de cette mission humaine et culturelle, ainsi que l’ensemble du peuple de la Kanaky-Nouvelle-Calédonie.
