If you're watching this, you probably want to make your job as a product leader easier. You want to accomplish more with fewer people in less time. It’s a noble goal. One that I also share. To make this possible, you must “manage by outcomes.”

If you want to see your strategy carried through execution, you need to get involved in defining outcomes and measures.

Using outcomes creates focus and alignment. It eliminates needless work. And it puts the customer at the center of everything you do.

Jobs-to-be-Done provide an objective way for us to discuss what our customers and/or users perceive as value and help us to visualize how our organization’s outcomes and values align with those of our customers/users.
