Quick play around with RISC OS Error Boxes | RISC OS Software Development

This was a very minimal-edit video of me experimenting with trying to make my own Error box that doesn't freeze the entire RISC OS Wimp Desktop, using Templates and (a fairly old) GNU G++.

I'm gonna try a few little experiments like this before I start working on a full scale project (text editor), as an easy way to dip my toe into RISC OS software development.

TBH, most of this is based on a fantastic set of Wimp C programming tutorials written by Steve Fryatt. Without this resource it would have taken me ages to get something running, so thank you for going to the effort of writing that tutorial.
