Jesus Antón and Urszula Ziebinska from the OECD shed light on policies for the future of farming and food in the European Union, with a specific focus on innovation. Urszula Ziebinska, a Data and Policy Analyst at the OECD, presented the latest findings from the OECD's report on "Policies for the Future of Farming and Food in the European Union." The report emphasises the crucial role of innovation in driving productivity and environmental sustainability within the EU's agriculture sector. By placing innovation at the core of agricultural policy strategy, the EU aims to harmonise enhanced productivity with environmental stewardship. Following the presentations, participants actively enganged in exchanging experiences with the speakers.
