Saddhu on Aranuchala telling about Peer Wertin, member af the swedish royal family who went to India to study Sanskrit. Moved by what he saw in India he donated his multimillionaire fortune to different projects to help the poor and sick in India. When coming for Ramana Maharshis Darshan in the early fourties - Ramana cut him a beggar´s bowl from a cocconut and gave him the name "Ramana Giri". For some years he lived in northern India with the danish mystic Emanuel Sörensen who also got his name "Sunyata" from Ramana. In a letter to Sunyata, Peer Wertin described how he attained Moksha on the Shivaratri night. Peer Wertin died shortly after in tuberculosis. Fullfilling the poem of Tagore: "We gain freedom when we have paid the full price for our right to live" Peer Wertin is considered a saint in India today. For full story go to blogspot:
