If you want to become a better guitar player, it is important that you learn how to land on or target the correct notes in your solos. These Chord Tones are the notes that make up each Major and Minor Chord or triad. You must always know where your Root Notes are along with the 3rd and the 5th notes of each Chord or Triad in the music or chord progression you are playing. This video lesson is only one strategy on how to quickly find the Root, 3rd, and 5th note of each Chord or Triad. Hopefully you can take this knowledge and immediately start putting it to practice and it's also all about training and developing your ear to hear these Chord Tones and once again quickly find the notes for each Chord or Triad that you are playing.
