UPDATE: Please note - the shape that I chose in this video will actually go around the design and stitch 4 times. This does not make for a good basting stitch. If you scroll through the shapes you should be able to find one that is more suitable.

In this video, I go over how to create a basting stitch on your embroidery machine if you machine does not have an auto baste built in. This method uses the built in shapes on your machine.
