How to make Chicken Halang Halang | Halang Halang na Manok | Filipino Native dish

Chicken Halang Halang dish is a visayan dish which means "Spicy, Spicy", it is more likely similar to Tinola dish which has ginger, and green papaya, but the Halang Halang has Lemon grass, coconut milk and chili"s which the name of the dish originate.

Here"s the INGREDIENTS:

500 gr chicken
3 stalks lemon grass
1 onion
4 to 6 cloves garlic
1 thumb size ginger
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
1 tbsp fish sauce (Patis)
1 & 1/2 cup coconut milk
2 to 4 pcs small dried chili
1 medium size green papaya
1 bunch of spinach (you can use also malunggay leaves or chili leaves)
1/2 tsp salt to taste
