Mejor conocido con el seudónimo "Otrova Gomas", el abogado, escritor, poeta y fotógrafo Jaime Ballestas ofrece de una manera sumamente divertida una clase magistral de como el humor y la comedia son expresiones de un arte milenario y necesario en nuestra identidad. He is a lawyer, philosopher, writer and photographer. He has been founder and collaborator of important humorous magazines and columnist of almost all Venezuelan newspapers. As a writer he has sold almost a million copies, among his most famous books are: Hazardous Labyrinths, The Case of the Five-Legged Spider, and The Worst Man in the World. In his works he has used black humor to dismantle governments and defects of our idiosyncrasy. It has inspired several generations, who have seen in him and in his clever resource of sarcasm, a way to make people laugh and not cry.
