Summer Breeze Tatting tutorial for shuttles (by Lilliantatlace)

This pattern was my first design in my tatting journey. I designed it in 2020 during the summer. That’s why I named it “Summer Breeze”.
It’s a small coaster size motif, I suggested to use size 20 thread because it’s perfect size for coaster.
But please feel free to use any size you like, I think it should also look great to be earring design too.

Back in my old days, my pattern was not very mature yet, so, I revised it a bit, re-drew the diagram and added the written instructions.

Tatting Abbreviations:
-, P : picot
+: Join
RW: Reverse work
SS: Switch shuttle
DNRW: Do not reverse work
LJ: Lock Join

Please note that all the joining picots are small, that will make the work neater. :)
