ABOUT
The Winter Efteling is the opening of the Efteling in the winter season, nowadays from November to February. Since the first edition, the event has been presented as a clearly different experience than the Efteling offers during the rest of the year, through all kinds of extras in the form of decorations, special live entertainment and winter catering and attractions. The park also has different opening hours than during the high season.

The Winter Efteling has been organized since 1999. After three trial editions, it was decided in 2002 to put the event on the calendar for good. Until 2010 the park was still closed between the summer season and the Winter Efteling, nowadays the Efteling is open every day of the year and there is therefore no interruption between summer and winter season.
