UPSC CSE Current Affairs NEWS in 60 Seconds!
The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of RBI has made the following announcements. The policy repo rate under the liquidity adjustment facility (LAF) remains unchanged at 6.5 %. The standing deposit facility (SDF) rate remains unchanged at 6.25 % and the marginal standing facility (MSF) rate and the Bank Rate remains unchanged at 6.75 %. The focus remains on withdrawal of accommodation. For Financial Year 2023-24, the RBI retained GDP growth forecast at 6.5%, while expects CPI inflation to be at 5.1%.
