The father Edmund served in the US Navy during World War II. After that he worked as an executive director of the Philadelphia City Planning Commission. His job made him quite recognized in the area and even the TIME magazine wrote several articles about him. In addition, he was a lecturer at two universities and published a book titled Design of Cities. Edmund led a very active life and passed away in 2005, aged 95.

The mother’s name is Ruth and she worked at school as a teacher. In addition to that she dealt with social activism. In a marriage with Edmund, she gave birth to six kids. She encouraged all of them to have their own path in life and perhaps, that’s why they all succeeded in their working spheres.

Bacon has five siblings. The oldest one is a sister Karin, who drew her first breath in 1940. She lives in New York and works as an event planner. She shares a tight bond with her stellar brother and once even accompanied him to Tony Awards of 2014.

One more sister Elinor was born in 1941. Like her dad, she is passionate about urban development. She had been working in the real estate business for 12 years. Then she moved to Washington and established ER Bacon Development in 2002.

The third sister is named Hilda who was delivered in 1947. At first she was a director of partnerships and engagement at the Build the Future Company. Today, she is a manager of B4USoar. It would be interesting to know that she doesn’t like being in the limelight. However, she could be seen with Kevin at the premiere of Death Sentence in 2007.

The fourth sibling is a brother Michael, who was welcomed in 1949. He is a very creative person, being a composer and a music artist. Together with his famed brother they perform in a band called The Bacon Brothers and can boast of releasing eight albums. On top of that, Michael can also be seen in different TV projects. As for his personal life, it is known that he has been married since 1972 and is father to one kid.

A sister Kira became a wonderful addition to the family in 1951. She is a fiber artist, who lives on Vashon Island. Also, she is a communications director for the Vermont Arts Council.

Speaking of the celebrity’s relationship status, he walked an actress Kyra Sedgwick down the aisle in 1998 and the two lovebirds have been living happily ever since. The pair got acquainted back in 1987 on a set of a film. After a decade of being together, they finally got hitched.

The celebrity’s firstborn is a son Travis, who was born in 1989. He is a gifted musician, being a member of rock-punk-funk group called Idiot Box. Also, he has his own studio Broken Box Recording Company.

The second kid is a daughter, Sosie, who was welcomed in 1992. In 2005 she debuted on a big screen and keep building an acting career.
