The long version of a "Discover Short" for those interested in visiting the west away from crowds. Bisti is a BLM area that allows boondock camping. Bisti is a trailless wilderness where you are free to wander where ever you wish. When the light is right, it's one of the most photogenic places in the west. Outdoor photographers are just beginning to discover this amazing place.
Shiprock has been used as a waypoint for travelers for hundreds of years- but few ever get close to it. In this video we do. I show you the 1581 foot volcanic core and its amazing 200 foot high walls (volcanic dikes) that radiate from it for miles. Great places off the main tourist path- so away from crowds.
