If you're new to sewing and haven't used paper patterns before, this short tutorial will explain how to detail them, and how to cut out and sew your fabric.

This video is for self drafted patterns, it does not cover commercial patterns, although the method is the same.

You can mark your patterns however you like if they're only for your use, but it's a good idea to use standard pattern making terms and symbols. I cover the basics for you to get started.
