Ep22 Surviving 5 Days in Australia's Montebello Islands Fishing, Diving, Exploring on our 9.5m boat

‪@Hookedonwildventures‬ If you haven't been, you've got to to! Montebello Islands Fishing, Diving and Exploring in Australia is an EPIC ADVENTURE over 5 days! The marine life is unbelievable, never mind the windy weather and the cyclone threat! Day 5 camping on our 9.5 m plate boat fishing, diving and exploring, we get to enjoy the beautiful, sandy beaches that stretch for miles. We also get so close and personal with painted crayfish aka lobsters, coral trout, passion fruit trout, morwong, tusk fish, Indonesian snapper, giant clams, mangrove jack, barramundi cod, chinaman fish (that lose all most of their colouring below a certain depth underwater). We get to smoke the giant mackerel we caught and cook with it - you would not starve out here! Follow our wild ventures at the Montebello Islands starting from Episodes 18 through to 22 (Days 1 to 5) consecutively.

Margie cannot believe how easy it has been using the PowerDive hookah system. Instead of using a portable battery in its compartment (that can float), we hook it up to our boat's batteries. This also makes sure we don't veer too far away from the mothership!

A bit about us:
We are Ricky & Margie and we have left our home in Darwin to travel to these beautiful places in Australia, fishing, camping, catching what we cook, exploring, discovering more of ourselves and having fun. Ricky used to be a fishing guide in the territory. This year, Margie is Ricky's only paying client, haha! Margie juggles her work consulting as a Psychologist and an Australian Immigration Agent and enjoying the wild ventures at sea with Ricky. Enjoy the banter between these near-50-year-old couple act like kids let loose at sea.
