I found this Olds Super trumpet hanging on the wall of an old music store going out of business. It was hanging there for many years. The silver was very tarnished from age and not being in the case. This trumpet probably has not been played in over 50 years. It is like it was in a time capsule. Here is all the information written on the trumpet. FE Olds and Son Super made in Los Angeles California. The serial # 13391 The best I can tell from where it was made and the serial # is that it was made in 1946. Different publications give me different dates. So it can be conflicting dates to as when it was made.
