Myrtle Beach State Park FULL TOUR 2023 I Tent Camping, Nature Center Activities, & Beach Sunrise

On the Grand Strand coastline, Myrtle Beach State Park is an escape from "main" Myrtle with beautiful trees and endless picnic spots, nature trails, gorgeous ocean views (and easily walkable paths to get there), playgrounds, and an awesome Nature Center. We pitched a tent for a staycation weekend and had the best time. We got to to see a breathtaking sunrise, listen to lots of planes taking off, and experience the ocean in a new way.

If the Myrtle Beach campgrounds aren’t for you, there are also six rental cabins, built by the CCC in the 1930s. There are also 278 campsites, 138 of which have full-hookups of water, electricity, and sewer and 30 designated, seasonal tent sites.
